  1. Overall strategic management of school
  2. Coordinate school aims and values
  3. Oversee teaching staff welfare, recruitment and policy
  4. Recruitment and selection of staff
  5. Creation of Whole School Annual Calendar
  6. Lead New Staff Induction process.

Lead role on evaluating and monitoring school performance in attainment and in wider achievements to generate data and qualitative evidence to assist in a continuous improvement programme. Co-ordinate and produce whole school timetable.

STRATEGIC Responsibilities

Key strategic role in promoting professional learning to support improvement and enhance learning at all stages. “Developing Young Workforce” and the development of skills across the curriculum. Increasing involvement of parents with the Banff Academy learning community and development of Banff Academy “Parentzone”
